Slow Wonder is the coming together of two kindred organizations: experiential hospitality collective
Slowness and annual cultural festival
Wonderfruit .
Slow Wonder explores how rituals and creations –rooted in contemplative traditions as well as contemporary expressions of music, food, art, and performance – can reunite our physical, mental and spiritual vitality. Building upon prevalent Buddhist teachings, we map out the meeting points between mind, body, science, spirit and nature using curious, open-hearted approaches accessible to all personal beliefs.
What emerges is an intimate village festival for forty people, coming together to cultivate and celebrate the wonders of diverse wisdoms through an array of cultural practices, rituals, and performances. Immersed in a playground of forests, farms, art installations and architectural pavilions on the Wonderfruit fields, participants are invited into a slow wonder reconnecting us to the interconnectedness of it all.
